Adobe Brings Photoshop Express to the Web

Thursday March 27, 2008

Although it's still in beta format, Adobe has started allowing public use of Photoshop Express, a new online image editing and storage solution. Photoshop Express lets you upload and store up to 2 GB of images on Adobe's servers, for free. After you upload an image, you can perform basic image editing tasks right from your browser, including removing red eye, cropping and resizing, adjusting white balance, tweaking brightness and contrast, and much more.

Photoshop Express was designed to be a basic image manipulation program, but it does have a few advanced features, including the ability to pop or highlight specific colors, distort an image, or turn an image into a sketch.

After you're satisfied with your images, you can use Photoshop Express to share them with friends, family, or total strangers.
