AT&T Getting Ready for June 15-July 12 iPhone Launch

If you’re an AT&T employee, your summer vacation has been put on hold, at least if you work retail or support. According to our friends at The Boy Genius Report, AT&T distributed a memo advising managers to restrict vacations from June 15 through July 12 “due to projected increased traffic and an exciting new promotion/product launch.”
The Boy Genius notes that the same type of memo made the rounds last year at AT&T, just before the original iPhone product launch, so it would be logical for AT&T to do it again this year for a 3G iPhone. And let’s not forget that Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference takes place from June 9-13, which has been my predicted target date for the 3G iPhone announcement. An iPhone announcement at the beginning of the Developers Conference, followed by product availability a week later at AT&T stores, makes perfect sense.
Until then, we can only wait and see. In the meantime, let us know what features you think the new iPhone will have, and which features are important to you, by stopping by the new Apple Rumors folder in the Focus on Macs forum.
