Photoshop Express to Gain New Features

Wednesday May 7, 2008

Adobe just announced a new version of Photoshop Express that adds some of the features most requested by users during the beta testing period.

Photoshop Express now integrates with Flickr. If you have a Flickr account, you’ll be able to seamlessly move an image from Flickr to Photoshop Express for editing, and then send the image back to Flickr to share with the Flickr community.

Another major addition is the incorporation of a Save As function that allows you to save multiple versions of an image, an important capability that the original beta version lacked.

Last but not least, it will be easier to share slideshows you create in Photoshop Express, which previously had limited viewing capabilities. Adobe will make available an embedded player that you can incorporate into your blog and web site, as well as leading community sites, such as Facebook and MySpace.

Adobe will flip the switch on the new updated beta later today (9:01 PM PDT). Photoshop Express will remain available as a free public beta while Adobe continues to refine its features and capabilities.
