No Adobe Booth on the Macworld Expo Floor
One of the most popular vendors will be largely absent from the upcoming Macworld Expo. Adobe has decided to forgo its usual prominent exhibition hall booth. Instead, the company will have representatives on hand for a single day of educational sessions at scheduled presentations.

Adobe’s decision to abandon its usual floor booth, which is near the top of the must-visit list for many show attendees, is a highly unusual move for the software giant. I can’t remember a previous Macworld where Adobe didn’t have an exhibit.
Adobe has historically used Macworld for product announcements as well as for showing off new products and features. Adobe recently unveiled Creative Suite 4 for the Mac (review coming soon), and would have certainly had packed crowds at its booth for demonstrations of CS4’s new features, not to mention the product giveaways that Adobe was always known for at the show.
The company failed to provide any explanation for the change, although it did say that, “The Mac community is very important to us and we will continue our strong support for this platform.”
