One Word Describes My Macworld Predictions: Consistent
Of course another way of describing my predictions would be 0 for 6. Not a single one of my predictions made an appearance at Macworld this year, my worst showing ever. Even so, I think the top three picks (a new Mac Mini, iMac updates, and Snow Leopard) are all right around the corner.
Two of the other three picks (an iPhone nano and a new Apple TV) were long shots. The third (an Apple Media Server) was the longest shot of them all; it didn’t have much of a chance from the get-go. It was nice to think about, though, wasn’t it?
It will be difficult to live down 0 for 6. Nevertheless, I’m gearing up for my next batch of predictions. After all, Apple may very well be planning a special late winter or early spring event.
What do you think will be revealed then?
