Apple will announce its Q3 financial results during a conference call scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Q3 covers sales from March 28 to June 26. During this time frame, Apple announced the new iPhone 3G S, a shakeup to the MacBook and MacBook Pro lineups, and an updated MacBook Air.
Apple previously predicted profits of$0.95 to $1.00 per share of stock for the quarter, generated from $7.7 to $7.9 billion in revenue.
Analysts are split on their predictions for the quarter, with some expecting revenue around the $8 billion mark. Others believe there was a tail off of Mac-related sales during the quarter that would drag down the total revenue figure. In any case, no analysts have predicted revenues lower than the Apple-supplied guidance figures.
