As it traditionally does at this time of year, Apple has kicked off its Back-to-School promotion. This year, Apple is offering $50 and $100 gift cards that can be used for purchasing apps, books, music, and movies.

The $100 gift card comes with a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or iMac; the $50 gift card comes with an iPad.

To qualify for the Back-to-School Card, you must be a college student, a parent buying for a college student, or a staff or faculty member of any K-12 or higher education public or private school.

Purchases must be made through Apple's Online Store for Education, Apple retail stores, or authorized campus stores.

You can find out more about Apple's Back-to-School Card offer at the Apple Rebates and Promos web site.

When you go to the Apple Online Education Store, enter the zip code for your school, select your school from the list, and then click the Shop for Yourself button.
