With the release of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2, Apple fulfilled its promise to include Facebook integration in the Mac OS. The initial release of Mountain Lion included Twitter integration, but Facebook integration took a little longer than expected.

Facebook integration allows you to share photos, web sites, and other content directly from any Mac app that supports the Share button (most do, or will as they're updated for Mountain Lion). That means posting a pic to your Facebook account is as easy as launching iPhoto, selecting the image, and clicking the Share button.
Facebook integration also works with the Notifications Center, so you can quickly post content to your Facebook wall.
