Using Apple Mail's Built-In Stationery

When you've got something momentous or even just unusual to say, plain text in an email just doesn't get the message across. Apple Mail includes more than two dozen stationery templates that can give your messages a colorful, rich, and attention-grabbing backdrop. You can use the templates for a wide variety of events and announcements.

Mail's built-in stationery doesn't get used often because it's not obvious how to access it. Don't bother to look in the Format or Message menus; you won't find the templates there. When I tell you where to find the magic button that provides access to the Apple-supplied templates, you'll be amazed. It's been right there in front of you all the time, just not in a place you'd think to look:
