Apple Chose Form Over Function for the 21.5-inch iMac; the Results Aren't Pretty

Apple threw us a few curves with the 2012 version of the 21.5-inch iMac, in both the iMac's design and its use. The new thin design of the smallest of the iMac models required a number of tradeoffs to save space; some of you may find these tradeoffs unacceptable, or at the very least, irritating.

However, with careful consideration, and the Build-to-Order options, the 21.5-inch iMac can still be a good choice for a desktop Mac.
