Earlier this week, I received a few questions about OS X Mountain Lion and Facebook. Apple promised that Mountain Lion would integrate easily with Facebook, but the readers were having trouble finding where to turn this feature on. I don't blame them; it's certainly not in a spot that screams, "Here I am!"

When you first install OS X, the Facebook feature is disabled. If you want to post to Facebook directly from one of your favorite apps, you must first turn this feature on, using OS X's System Preferences.
