Apple Announces Back-to-School Deals

Today Apple unveiled its annual back-to-school promotions, which feature gift cards and discounted pricing on Macs, iPads, and iPhones.

This summer's back-to-school promotion offers three popular Mac models: the MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro, and the iMac. In addition, all currently available iPad and iPhone models are included in the promotion. App Store gift cards range from $100 when purchasing a Mac, to $50 for the iPad or iPhone.

To qualify for the back-to-school promotion, purchases must be made by September 6, 2013 from the Apple Online Store for Education, Apple Retail Stores, or an Apple Authorized Campus Store. In addition, you must meet the requirements listed below.

K-12 - Any employee of a public or private K-12 institution in the United States is eligible, including homeschool teachers. In addition, school board members who are currently serving as elected or appointed members are eligible. PTA or PTO executives currently serving as elected or appointed officers are eligible.

Higher Education - Faculty and staff of Higher Education institutions in the United States; and students attending, or accepted into a Higher Education institution in the United States are eligible to purchase. Purchases from the Apple Store for Education Individuals are not for institutional purchase or resale.

Higher Education Parents - Parents purchasing on behalf of their child, who is a student currently attending or accepted into a public or private Higher Education Institution in the United States, are eligible to purchase.
