Apple today made changes to the AppleCare and Apple Support website that include 24/7 support chat, the ability to call Apple support (with an estimated wait time displayed), and the option to schedule a time for Apple support to call you.

Additionally, the Apple Support web site has been updated with new large icons that make choosing a help category easy. You start by selecting a help category, such as Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, iTunes, Apps & Software, or More Products & Services.
As you move through the hierarchy of choices you will find many different solutions to common problems, as well as the option to interact with Apple's support experts.
Overall, finding online documents that can help you with a problem is much easier with the new Apple Support website. It guides you to relevant documents, rather than leaving you to guess where (and for what) to look.
And when online documents don't meet your needs, a quick click of a button will connect you to Apple support experts.
