As part of the installation process, you will need to provide your Vista product key, which is usually located on the back of the Vista CD case or inside the Vista envelope. Be careful not to lose or misplace the product key; you will need it later if you need to reinstall Vista.
Product Key and Licensing
- Enter your product key. The dashes in the product key will be entered automatically; all you need to do is type the alphanumeric characters.
- Click the ‘Next’ button.
- Accept the terms of the license by placing a check mark in the ‘I accept the license terms’ box.
- Click the ‘Next’ button.
