Graphics Tablets for Macs
Graphics tablets are more intuitive than using a mouse or track pad to draw or paint, touch up photos or other images, create a digital signature or handwritten note, or sketch a diagram. If you would normally use a pen, pencil, colored pencil, sketching pen, paintbrush, chalk, or crayon to create it, you can more easily create or edit it with a graphics tablet and a stylus than a mouse.
In terms of features, its hard to find fault with the Wacom Graphire Wireless graphics tablet. But unless you really must have a wireless graphics tablet, youd be better off spending an additional $80 and getting the Wacom Intuos3 6x8.
The Wacom Intuos3 graphics tablet is available in six different sizes and configurations. Even the smallest version is a little pricey for casual use, but if you need to create or edit digital images, you wont find a more intuitive tool than the Wacom Intuos3.
The Wacom Cintiq 21UX may be the ultimate in graphics tablets, not withstanding the two other available Cintiq sizes. Although it functions like a graphics tablet, its more accurate to call it an interactive pen display, because it includes its own built-in LCD.
The Adesso CyberTablet 12000 graphics tablet offers a very generous 9x12 active workspace at a very affordable price. The tablet is compatible with almost any software program that accepts input from a mouse, and comes with a cordless, pressure-sensitive pen and a wireless three-button scrolling mouse.
