Add a Search Feature to an iWeb Blog
iWeb and .Mac Let You Search Your Blog Entries

By Tom Nelson, About.com

iWeb makes it easy to create a web site, complete with a photo gallery and blog. If you're a prolific writer, you may soon create so many blog entries that it will be difficult for site visitors to find earlier posts. You can solve this problem by using iWeb to add a search box to your blog. (Note: This tip only works if you host your iWeb site on a .Mac account.)

In iWeb, select your top-level blog page from the site organization pane. If the Inspector window isn't currently visible, click the 'Inspector' icon at the bottom of the iWeb window. Click the 'RSS' button at the top of the Inspector window, and then click the 'Blog' tab. In the Search section, put a check mark next to 'Display search field.' Your blog entries will now be searchable.
